TOP AND SHORTS
Have been busy with travelling and guests.Still behind the scene activities like stitching and embroidery were going on.I am posting a few dresses I did for my grand kids.
This simple dress is made with hacoba or eyelet material with flutter sleeve and a frayed clothe flower.
The back I did invisible zipper which came out well.
The shorts is made of seersucker with scalloped bottom with lace.
Have a nice day!

HONEY COMB SMOCKED DRESSES
When I saw this green colour linen material I wanted to do honey comb smocking. The smocking stitches are made little far than the usual honeycomb smcoking. So the long flat space gives a different look.
Girls pant and top with smocking.

Bow and Clips Organizer
Hi, Here is a Bow and Clip Holder for little ones hair accessories. The pockets help them organize their bangles, ear rings and stuff like that. I did an embroidery of flower face and added her name.
At the back I attached a vinyl pocket so that anything big can go in there.
The Bow had a ribbon hanging, the clips go on that. On sides there are holders for the hair bands.

The Big Bow Dress
Hi, this big BOW dress is very simple and cute. When I saw a little girl wearing this pattern I wanted to make one for my GD. I used cotton material with red dots on cream and for bow cream dots on red. The bow is pulled through the broad pleat in the front . The puff sleeves were finished with piping.

The Penny Dress
I made this lovely dress for my GD. I used cotton hacoba material for the yoke and satin finished cotton for the skirt. The pattern and tutorial was from the blog http://www.craftinessisnotoptional.com/2011/09/penny-dress.html . It turned out really cute.

The Tartan Dress
Hi, this dress is for Sarah. I fell in love with the pattern the second I saw it. I made a matching hairband and a bag to go with it. It has a Disney touch with dotted materials, belt and the head band with the bow and of course the embroidered bag .
Close up of the front.
The back is different with four buttons.

I made a matching head band with a polo neck removed from her T shirt and a bow attached .
And a bag to go with it.
All three together.
I found this pattern from a blog skirtastop.wordpress.com.

Hand and Machine Embroidered Baby Pillow Covers
These are pillow covers that I embroidered for my grand kids when they were infants.
The White pillow cover is Hand Embroidered. It Says "Baby" on one pillow and "Sarah" on the other.
The Blue pillow cover is Machine Embroidered by my Pfaff 2170. It says "Baby" on one and "Owais" on the other.
The bed cover design is from the machine card
